Terms and Conditions

1. Making a Booking

You provisionally book the walking holiday you are interested in for your preferred dates and pay a £50.00 per person deposit. We confirm availability and book all your accommodation and send final confirmation as soon as everything is confirmed. If we are unable to accommodate you on your confirmed dates or an alternative of your choice your deposit is fully refunded. The balance is payable at least one month before the start of the holiday. If the booking is made less than one month before the start of the holiday, please pay the full amount at the time of making the booking. For details of how to pay, please see the booking page.

2. Cancellations

Cancellations must be notified in writing or by e-mail but please ensure you have had a response either way. The deposit will be forfeited in all cancellations. Where a cancellation is received with in 28 days of the start of the holiday, the full cost of the holiday will be charged and there will be no refund. If received before 28 days of the start of your holiday a refund less your deposit will be given.

3. Liability

Walkers Ways cannot accept liability for death, injury, or loss or damage to property during the course of the holiday.

4. Safety

You are responsible for your own safety when walking. It is essential that you are properly equipped and clothed for walking in Scotland, and that you have the appropriate map (whether or not supplied by Walkers Ways) and a compass and know how to use them.

5. Insurance

We strongly recommend that you take out insurance to cover cancellation, injury, death, loss or damage to property and liability to third parties for the duration of your holiday.
